Co-founders Ji and Heather hand-select each bead, focusing on natural gemstones in rare cuts and sizes. Ji’s distinctive design and unexpected combinations create necklaces wearable in multiple ways.

Our Story: One Of A Kind
Searching for beauty in a season of major midlife upheaval (personal / professional / perimenopausal), Ji and Heather combined their shared love of jewelry and ongoing quest for rare, unique, and meaningful gemstones into Monsoon Season Jewelry. 

Using their personal mottos (“build a sacred life” / “make every day sparkle”) and desire to create something on their own terms as guides, they built Monsoon Season Jewelry on the strong foundation of their decades-long friendship. 

Leveraging complementary skills honed over decades of work leading organizations, Ji designs and makes Monsoon Season Jewelry’s one-of-a-kind pieces and Heather keeps the operation running smoothly. Their favorite part of the business is sourcing exceptional stones together.
