Coral (Mediterranean) – Precious Coral has been harvested and used for adornment for more than 3,000 years. Of the more than 7,000 species of coral, only 10 are considered precious and usable in jewelry as they have a porcelain-like luster when polished. Swarovski Crystal (Austria) – Swarovski was founded in 1895 following Daniel Swarovski’s invention of the world’s first electric-powered crystal cutting machine and lexicon of crystal cuts that produced a new level of crystal clarity.
