Chalcedony – Chalcedony was a treasured gemstone of the ancient world. Today, jewelry designers love its glowing, translucent tones and wide range of colors and shapes. Chalcedony can technically refer to any form of translucent, cryptocrystalline quartz (Agate, Bloodstone, Chrysophrase, Onyx) but in the gem trade, it primarily refers to the stone’s luminous light bluish, white or gray color. Blue Chalcedony’s calming color soothes and restores. It is believed to encourage reflection and meditation, eliminate hostility, and serve as a throat-opening good luck charm for public speakers and actors.
Sapphire – Sapphire is one of four stones considered precious gems and comes in all colors except red and black. Its name, which comes from Ancient Greek and means ‘dark blue stone’, infers that blue sapphire was the first color discovered. Sapphire is the birthstone for September and considered a stone of wisdom, wealth, and protection around the world.
Sterling Silver –Silver is considered a fine metal and, because of its durability, a tangible representation of lasting love and family bonds. It is also believed to strengthen emotional, mental, and physical well-being by promoting inner peace, alleviating stress and anxiety, and warding off negative energy. Wearing or carrying sterling silver serves as a personal talisman, enhancing one's inner strength and resilience. Silver is given as a 25th anniversary gift.
